Welcome to our FAQ page
Here you'll find answers to common questions asked by our students about our courses, scheduling, payment options, and more.
When can I start the courses?
You can start your French learning journey as soon as you meet with our course manager, Zuhair. During this meeting, we’ll establish your learner profile, set your goals, and create a timeline that fits your needs. Together, we’ll choose the days and times that work best for you, allowing for a seamless registration process. Once that’s done, you can settle the fees and get started! We pride ourselves on offering flexible scheduling, whether you prefer one-on-one or semi-private lessons, to ensure your learning experience is tailored just for you.
Can I meet with the tutor before committing to lessons to check compatibility and teaching style?
Absolutely! We offer a consultation session where you can meet the tutor, discuss your goals, and ask any questions you might have to evaluate their teaching style. This session is a wonderful opportunity for you to see if it feels like the right fit. Plus, your first package with us is a 5-hour package, allowing you to experience our teaching methods firsthand. This way, you can confidently assess your options and make an informed decision about how to move forward, ensuring you feel completely comfortable in your commitment.
As a beginner, am I able to enroll in French courses tailored for learners like me?
Yes, we offer comprehensive courses for beginners, designed to help you build a solid foundation in French. Before starting, our tutor will meet with you to discuss your goals and create a personalized timeline to guide your learning effectively. Our classes are also recorded, allowing you to rewatch the lessons at your own pace. This way, you can practice and master pronunciation, vocabulary, and grammar, ensuring steady progress and long-term success.
Do I have the option for in-person classes?
While our focus is on virtual lessons, we understand the appeal of in-person classes. Our virtual classes are designed to be as engaging and interactive as possible, using platforms like Zoom and Teams, along with tools for note-taking and document sharing. Many of our students, from different countries, find that virtual lessons provide a seamless learning experience.
Can I take French classes on Saturdays & Sundays ?
Yes, we offer lessons on both Saturdays & Sundays. Weekend sessions are a great option for those with busy weekday schedules. For optimal learning, we recommend leaving a gap of a day or two between sessions to allow time for revision and practice. This approach helps reinforce your understanding and improves retention of new material.
How can I pay for the courses?
Once you choose a package, we will send you an invoice, and you can pay using a credit card, debit card, Apple Pay, or PayPal.
Can I cancel or reschedule my lesson?
Absolutely! We’re happy to accommodate changes and understand that your schedule can be busy or that unexpected events may arise. You can cancel or reschedule your lesson by informing your teacher in writing at least 24 hours in advance. Since our teachers are self-employed professionals, this policy helps ensure fairness to them while still offering flexibility to you. If the 24-hour notice isn't met, the lesson will be considered fully consumed to maintain their income and schedule.
Can I get a refund if I decide to cancel my course?
Yes, refunds are possible! If you cancel before your sessions begin, there is no charge for the refund. However, if the course has already started, a $50 CAD administrative fee will be applied. This policy ensures flexibility while helping us maintain a fair structure for both students and teachers.
